Contamination of maize and barley grain during storage by the toxigenic fungi Aspergillus flavus (A. flavus) Penicillium Verrucosum (P. verrucosum) is both an economic a public health problem, especially in less industrialized countries. Peracetic acid (PA) compound used for disinfection food contact surfaces.
